Name: Rev. Rosalynn Austin
Age: 40
Vocation:Emergency Management, USN Veteran
Education: BS Health Care Management (Southern Illinois University-C)
Geography: Kansas City,  Missouri
License: UPCI Local
Ministry: Speaker/Teacher/Preacher/ choir member, supporting my husband’s ministry in music/teaching/preaching and his new role as Hyphen Director at The Life Church of Kansas City.
Ministry Vision: “To speak to nations,” has been a word I have held on to from the moment the Lord spoke them to me over 14 years ago, big words for a then divorced single parent.  Until that moment I had been content serving in my local home church, but once those words where whispered to me, the vision expanded and my path changed. The Lord later provided a husband, moved our family to Missouri, expanded our travels and opportunities to serve and my hubby and I both obtained our ministers license. Daily The Lord is making the vision come to pass. My passion is to love people and to share with them the healing and delivering power of Christ Jesus.
Favorite Books: The Role of the Shepherdess by Roffie Ensey, Cara’s Call by David Norris, Concerning Spiritual Gifts by Kenneth E. Hagin, The Gifts of the Spirit by Lee Stoneking
Favorite Foods: Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, Thia, Filipino), German, Cajun & Creole, I love seafood, Southern food (sweet potato pie, cabbage, greens, cornbread, etc.) a foodie at heart.
Favorite pastimes: Hanging out with my hubby, laughing with our kids, and traveling. One day I hope to visit/revisit every state, and many more countries then the ones I have had the pleasure of visiting so far. Supporting local businesses. Blogging: www.everyday-hope.com
Favorite Quote: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Advice for other female leaders: Don’t waiver in trusting God’s word to you. If he has gifted you to do anything, He will provide a way for you to do it, even if he has to create the opportunity. In the process, study, serve, pray and trust  his timing is perfect and know he desires you to reach the lost with his word, love and by faith in him. Oh! Be supportive and an encourager of others on the journey. There is room for all God has called/chosen. 🙂
