Ministry Vision: I feel called to a ministry of encouragement. My first book When God Says No, was just published. It is the story it my struggle to keep faith alive while surrendering to the will of God concerning our son, who is profoundly affected by autism and epilepsy. My vision for ministry is to share the glorious hope that is in us to overcome the difficulties of life. However God chooses, whether by writing, preaching, teaching or praying…I want to inspire others.
Favorite Books: Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, keep the Main Thing the Main Thing by T.F Tenney, Voices of Wisdom by Nancy Grandquist
Favorite Foods: I love Mediterranean food, Mexican and Vietnamese but there’s nothing like Traditional American comfort foods; macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, any type of cake with a cold glass of milk 🙂
Favorite pastimes: spending time with my family and friends, anything and everything related to ladies ministry, reading, shopping and interior design
Favorite Quote: “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, ‘I used everything you gave me’.” -Erma Bombeck
Advice for other female leaders: Allow God to develop your ministry and trust Him with it completely. Self-promotion is unnecessary and unattractive. Ministry is a privilege; to be called to lead others is an honor and a huge responsibility. “Walk worthy”. Most importantly, be yourself; unique, one of a kind, marvelous you!
