#40Forward

Women of Vision Leadership is a non-profit organization which seeks to bring awareness about key issues women leaders face within Pentecostalism. I recently heard of the #40Forward campaign, and I wanted to reach out to Google Entrepreneurs, and ask for your help. My name is Crystal Schmalz, and I am a female minister with the UPCI and currently work as a full time hospital chaplain. I am the founder of Women of Vision Leadership, and have several dreams, hopes, and ambitions for this newly rising organization and movement. One of my dreams is to help promote women in their call to leadership in their communities, whether that be in a church or in a public organization. I would love to see retreats, conferences, small group materials, and projects get started to help equip women to be all they can be. I would love to start community projects aimed at helping local communities who are facing poverty, lack of education, lack of financial resources, and lack of health care. I would love to see communities provide for those who need help, and to increase awareness for those who are marginalized within our communities. I would love to see Women of Vision Leadership start after school projects, provide help for single parents, and start programs which can help fund children in poverty in America. I want to see women from all cultures, languages, and socioeconomic backgrounds get involved in leadership within their communities. We need equality and freedom. We need dreamers, builders, visionaries, and re-creators to get involved. Please consider Women of Vision Leadership in the #40Forward project! Let’s make this happen!
